Kage Baker would have been face down and asleep by now. The drive home from Santa Clara was full of the sort of adventures that always made her swear we’d never leave home again …
Details tomorrow, but for now I am too tired to think. However, it was a grand trip, a lovely convention, and I will talk about it all at length. As soon as I get some sleep. In my own bed.
Oh, I love my bed!
Hurray for a bed of one’s own! 😀 No matter how fun the trip, getting back to one’s own space is always refreshing

Thank you, Mark! Thank you, thank you! I have been pestering my agent for weeks about when the heck this is coming out, and I get the news from YOU! The writer – or in this case, the writer/amenuensis – is always the last to know … it’s like the publisher figures that once we send them the MS, we don’t care anymore. But this – this is my baby! When you send your 5-year old to their first day of kindergarten, you expect to be told when their school days ends, and to get them back.
